Hired by Isogoras the Xornite to capture Mercury Boltblaster, although Boltblaster was of the opinion they were not meant to succeed in actually taking him, but to provoke him into using magic to defend himself, thus revealing his location to Isogoras through ripples in the arcanosphere.

Their typical uniform is a black tunic over chainmail. The unit's charge is a pair of black lightning bolts crossed on a white field.
