Isogoras the Xornite: An evil wizard and member of the Dark Magic Society. Isogoras was, along with Mercury Boltblaster, an apprentice of the Mage Pencader. Ambitious and hungry for power, Isogoras dabbled in the dark arts, particularly demomancy, the conjuration of demons. Isogoras sought to betray his master Pencader and deliver him to the Assorted Hells. Mercury intervened and Isogoras found himself trapped in the Hells for many years. He has borne a grudge about this ever since. Ironically, Erimandras the Overmaster assigned Isogoras to recruit Mercury Boltblaster into the Dark Magic Society. Very likely, this was not an unintended irony.

Isogoras' most prized possession is the Horn of Hockessin, a magical horn that can summon demons of various kinds from the Assorted Hells to do the horn blower's bidding. Or, if the demons are in a bad mood, to devour the horn blower. One must be cautious when blowing horns at demons.
