Yezgar: Half-human, half-ogre henchman, bodyguard and enforcer of Zaran Zimzabar. Yezgar has had several notable encounters with Jason Cosmo, who describes him at their first meeting as "a living mountain." Yezgar is ten feet tall and over a yard wide at the chest, with hands and limbs of similar proportions. His skin is bluish-gray skin. His square face is pocked and scarred, with filmy yellow eyes, beetled brow, sneering purple lips, jagged teeth and greasy black hair worn shoulder length, often knotted around a human rib. Yezgar's bluish skin suggests at least partial Cyrillan ancestry on his human side.

Yezgar first battles Jason Cosmo in Offal in the spring of 990 AH. The encounter ended with the wizard Mercury Boltblaster knocking the half-ogre off a balcony with flying furniture, sending Yezgar plummeting into the River Longwash far below.
